The word from Mimi:
"We were thinking if weather permitted ,,, we would like to have a little mini baseball game kids vs adults, or something. We have the room, and it would be fun. So could you [Clyde] bring the gear and maybe tell the team to bring their gloves? [hey team - bring your gloves (Clyde)]
BYOB, I'll have the kids drinks.
I'm making green salad, pasta salad, and bread. Plus we'll have pizza, and if anyone wants to bring anything else, great.
360 S Jacob Miller Rd
Driving out of town on Hastings, take left on Jacob Miller Rd, and we are second driveway on right. The one with the Remax for sale sign."

With the season drawing to a close there are the following things to think about -
- Jamboree - usually at the end of the season there is a final event day at the Fairgrounds where you turn in your gear (belts, pants) and there are some other fun events. More info will be posted when available.
- Team Party - At the end of the year we have a team party. Your manager (Clyde) has ordered trophies for the kids. If you would be so kind as to reimburse him (me) for the cost it is $9.55 per trophy. We're looking to have the team party sometime soon after the end of the season - more details to follow. [Oh - did you know - we won a pizza party thanks to our participation in Camp - we had the most kids in camp from any team in Port Townsend Little League! Congratulations! We'll add that to our end of the year party.]
- What to do in the off season? It would be nice to stay with the baseball. As I think if things I will post them here - click here
(and YES I will keep updating this web site after the end of the season! Baseball goes on!)
But first - think about this - 3 more games to enjoy!
Savor the fun and remember - it's fun to play well - and our team is playing very well.
I'm proud of our team. |
